New Member Camp Canceled
UPDATE: In accordance with the Mississippi High School Activities Association rules and regulations we are cancelling freshmen camp scheduled for this Thursday and Friday. The full band camp will begin Monday morning at 8:00 as planned.

Full Band Camp:
All 2014-2015 Band Members are required to attend the Full Band Camp.
The first week of camp will be held Monday through Thursday, July 21st – 24th at the Band Room. The rehearsals begin at 8:00 and end at 5:00. The second week of camp will be held Monday through Friday, July 28th – August 1st at the Band Room. The rehearsals begin at 8:00 and end at 5:00.
There will be an End-of-Camp performance for family and friends on Friday, August 1st at 4:30.
Band Camp Supplies
Be sure to have the following:
Lunch – We don’t leave campus for lunch for safety purposes
Sunscreen – Apply before you come and reapply throughout the day
Light colored clothing (dark clothing makes you hotter in the sun)
Tennis shoes WITH socks (no flops, crocks, etc. and socks help cut down on blisters)
Hat or cap
Your instrument and supplies (reeds, valve oil, etc.)
Flip folder and lyre (folder-holder)
Pencil for music and drill notes
A water jug ( one gallon – just water )
Be sure to check the Band Calendar before making any plans during the school year.
The 2014-2015 Band Handbook will be sent out shortly. Many high school band details are covered there.
As a reminder: Every student must have on file a completed Physical Exam Form.
